CO2 TRAP
- CO2 is captured directly at the point source, the factory chimney, or directly from air through a CO2 Trap.
- The CO2 mineralisation can be accelerated using natural biogenic compounds: geocatalysts.
PROCESS
- Process: CO2 in gas stream dissolves in water and reacts with building waste, e.g. crushed concrete, by use of geocatalysts.
- Water and geocatalysts are recycled.
FULL VALUE CHAIN
- CO2 is captured directly at the factory chimney or directly from air and immobilised immediately.
- Valuable end product for low CO2 footprint of concrete.
- Building waste is used as input material making landfilling unnecessary.
